Employer : Fortune 100 company with 100,000 plus employees

Goals: Develop an executive statement for the upper tier of management that included multiple levels of stock options, pension plans and equity holding summaries.

Services provided: four page premium HiddenPaycheck.com benefit statement (online and hardcopy)

Process: Once the benefit statements were completed for the 100,000 hourly employees, BeneSync focused on the executives and created a custom document to summarize the executive benefits.

Process: The HR directors were responsible for conducting informational meetings to educate employees on how to read the benefit statements once they were received. BeneSync mailed the statements to the employee’s homes.

Results: After implementing the benefit and interactive recruitment statements, the corporate HR office surveyed each HR director at each location to gauge the results of the project. The survey of 70 Human Resource directors reported:

  • The statement data was accurate: 91% agree or strongly agree

  • Easy to read or understand: 96% agree or strongly agree

Process: Once the benefit statements were completed, a BeneSync benefit consultant went onsite and educated each employee on how to read the benefit statement. This included both a review of benefit plan eligibility, cost and participation rules.

Results: By having a third party content specialist go onsite and deliver the benefit statements, the employer experienced a renewed interest in the benefit plan and is very optimistic that medical plan participation will increase at open enrollment.
